My last doctor's appointment was on Tuesday, August 31st.
My blood pressure was too high, again.
I got sent to triage.
I cried.
I had hope it wasn't time yet for our baby boy to arrive. I still had so much to do. I remember saying if he could just hold on until September. God had other plans and a laugh.

My thoughts, "Really? We're going to have a baby now?"
The Daddy ready for surgery
I told them I felt like I was going to drop him. I didn't.
I told them I felt like my legs were about to float up into the air and kick the doctors in the face. I didn't.
His lungs were fully developed.
His long fingers were all there.
We counted those long toes, too.
When he opened up his eyes and stared at us, we knew he was meant to be.
He may have some curls in his future.
He looks just like his sister. Which one? You'll see.
The girls came to meet him the very next day.
This is the face he greeted them with and they were immediately in love.
They were excited to say the least.

Getting ready to leave he got hungry and found some solace in his digits.
