We Gave Thanks

This little man took his first trip to Georgia last week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

It was a long car ride. Three children, one dog, one mama and one husband who stepped in doggie business at the rest stop.

However, we made it and SJ celebrated his first Thanksgiving with family.

Our best shot of our trio!

The girls were more cooperative on their own.

How long can little girls wear ruffled socks?

I asked HJ to smile with her lips closed:

AE manages to find "treasures" everywhere:

The girls got haircuts while we were in Georgia.

We shopped.

We ate.

We loved on each other.

We slept.

We gave thanks for each other.

And pie.

Now THAT'S how you do cranberries!

We prayed.

The grands soaked up the baby goodness.

We introduced SJ to his great grandparents.

We attempted a family photo:

The best we got!

We also saw the big man in red while we were there and we rode the Pink Pig.

Christmas is coming quickly. Are you ready?
