A Question for You?

I'm putting together a small poll that will help me understand the dynamics of making a bed. Who is responsible? Please leave your comments on what works in your house, doesn't work, gripes and anything else you want to say.

Oh, and please vote!

All beds in our house (including Brodies) are made before we leave in the morning. It is totally the daddy that does it all.

It's so much quicker and easier when both work together!!!

We do not make our bed- Bed bugs thrive in warm environments so that is the theory we stick to. My kids will make their own beds everyday like I had to as a kid though.

Typically, whoever gets ready first makes the bed (and it is usually Will). I have trained him well. I make the kids' beds for now because they are too small to do it yet.

I feel like I should be embarrassed to say that bed making is not a huge priority in the mornings, but I'm really not. I like the idea of making my bed everyday but it just doesn't happen. On the days it gets made, I make it. And we don't completely make up Mary Alice's bed either everyday since she still takes an afternoon nap. We just pull her sheets up in the morning.

Nine times out of ten, I'm the bed maker. And I don't mind. I like it done a certain way. We tried the "last one in the bed makes it" and that didn't work out too good. Once my children are old enough, they will make their own beds just like I had to .

I'm with Stacie on this one... would LOVE it to be a priority but tends to not be unless we have company... with that said, if the mommy daddy bed were to be made it would be by me.. daddy is not a bedmaker, just sleeper. I fully intend to have the kids responsible for making their beds when their are old enough. In the meantime, I better start practicing on my own... hard to enforse if you aren't doing it yourself :o)
