Your Vote Counts, in a way...

Not the best photos, but you'll get the picture! I've been finding swatches for our dining room chairs. Bought them in January, so maybe we'll get them reupholstered by the end of the summer. 2010. HA!

I thought I'd let you chime in on your favorite swatch with a poll. Now the results of the pollmay or may not influence our decision, but it's good to hear from you. Especially if you leave a comment to say why you picked the one you did. Shameless, I know.

Here's what the chairs look like:

Here's the dining room so you can see the colors:

And now, the swatch parade!

Choice A: Toile

Choice B: Textured Cream

Choice C: Chocolate and Robin's Egg Geometric

Choice D: Robin's Egg Damask

Choice E: Modern Dot called "Circadian"

Choice F: Quilted Cream

Ok. Now don't forget to vote and leave a comment! I'll look forward to hearing from you...

I love the modern circles and have cast my vote.

Beautiful chairs too.

This will be intersting to see peoples personal taste. I am not a fan of anything modern so I picked the damask, but really I would pair up 2 fabrics like the damask or the toile with the cream (not quilted) Think about how annoying it will be to keep a cream seat clean! I think all toile will be a bit much. Good luck with your decision. Maybe you could do an accent fabrid on the arm chairs??

Well I am NOT great decorator at all but I'll still give my opinion because you asked. I always like Toile because it's classic and I like classic. I do also like the Robin's Egg Damask a lot.

I'm with Lou Lou, not a modern girl so I picked the Robin's Egg Damask. I also picked it because I think that blue would look beautiful in your dining room. But blue is my favorite color so it might bias my opinion. I'll be excited to see the finished product!

Oh my goodness, you've got some great swatches there, so this is going to be hard. My Traditional girl side would probably pick the brown toile first, then the aqua damask 2nd & the others would fall after that. I do think the solid creams are a little boring in here and you need some fabric pattern going. It's a beautiful room, love that chandy & the soothing colors on the wall. It's going to be gorgeous, no matter which on you choose!

What a lovely dining room! I love toile--I keep hearing it's "out" now, but I don't care. I think it's too classic to ever really go away. I immediately am drawn to that fabric. But then I really liked the aqua damask, too.

Think I've got to vote for the brown toile, though. Can't wait to see how it all turns out next summer! ;-)

I too love the neutrals, but think you need a little pattern/color in the room, therefore I chose the damask. I have never even been in your new house, one day I will have to see it! I know it will look fabulous, as everything you touch does!!

Love, love, love the blue damask! Classic, beautiful and will look great with your color scheme. And would pair with one of the neutral creams for the back. Def not cream for the seat, we have that color on our dining room seats (inherited furniture) and have just started using (just purchased a chandelier - after 3 yrs of nothing - at EXPO GOB sale CHEAP!)so am sure will have lots of panicky dinners in there with the kids :)

I love the damask!!!! I think I have the same dining room chairs. Our are covered in muslin and I had the end chairs monogrammed on back with our last initials. I posted about the chairs not too long ago....

I'm a little late--found you from the paint party. But I had to chime in. Damask all the way! I love how it ties in the buffet. I like the toile too, but would like it better blue & white. I like that the damask has a larger pattern as well. It would make the white chairs pop! This is going to be so beautiful!
