I Found My Thrill

Before I get ahead of myself, let me start at the beginning...

The girls and I travelled north to Woodstock this morning. At 8:30 the temps were low, but the low humidity we've enjoyed for the last week is gone sadly. My hair is mourning the loss of pleasant outdoor experiences without the fluff and sweat phenomenon.

This fellow was there to greet us as we approached the farm.

Our mission as a group of eighteen, including moms, kids and other friends

Just a warning, but I didn't see any. Yet.

Erin (my "sister") and Lil' Mak

The whole group descends upon the rows and rows of blueberry bushes.

I got a "boo" one!

Not sure what AE has in her hands, but it wasn't blueberries.

Some of the bushes had the most beautiful specimens of moss.

Dylan caught sampling the goods

Where my children ended up having the most fun: a field full of weed flowers!

For YOU!

Weather vanes always capture my attention

Paying for our goods: $1.29/lb.

I left with .90 cents worth! Not bad for a morning's worth of entertainment with friends.

Despite the muggy atmosphere, I could have stayed and picked for a couple more hours.

But alas, a two- and three-year-old can only tolerate a solitary activity for 90 minutes.

You may remember back last October, we visited the same farm for a Hayride and Pumpkin Fun. Want to reminisce? Click HERE.

What a fun day! I love that place. We have a couple of baby blueberry bushes, but they aren't producing much yet. :-(
