Just In Case

When I mentioned last post that I hadn't been feeling well, there was a reason.

I went to the doctor yesterday and had a bit of a scare.

High blood pressure.

They took my blood and I went back this morning for a recheck after spending the evening on my left side.

Thankfully I am back to {normal}.

I'm just going to be on my left side for the next four and a half weeks when I can.

I'll post when I can, but with our project still behind schedule and the girls starting school again, I'm overwhelmed. And I feel guilty.

Guilty for lying around. Not cooking. Losing my temper. Crying at dumb, inconsequential stuff.

On the sunny side of things, our baby boy SJ is scheduled to be delivered via C-section on September 10th at 9:00am. I'm fine if he comes early, just NOT IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST. I'm a birthday snob. I'll admit it.

I love that AE has a September birthday, and I would LOVE for SJ to share that month with his sister, Nana and Memaw.

Now, back to my left side.

I'm pretty sure that pregnant people get a pass on the guilt for laying around.. I on the other hand have no excuse except that my kids have worn me out this summer..

And about the august birthday.. I'm so with you. My daughter's birthday is August 30th.. Not much of a choice, she was born at 40 weeks and 1 day. I was trying my best to hold on. But, I can't tell you how many times I've said that I wish she had been born after Sept. 1 as to avoid the whole when to start school debate all together.

Hang in there! Being very pregnant in August is rough!

I don't know about Florida, but it is HOT here in St. Louis. Heat warning hot. I would not want to be pregnant right now. I wish that I lived closer so I could take your girls to the park while you get some rest!
