Guess Who?

HJ's a big girl now.

She slept in her big girl bed all last night.

Didn't get out of bed once.

Didn't wake up once.

Didn't protest.

She just fell asleep and woke up 12 hours later.

Sniff. Sniff.

First Day, Stay, Way, Pay, Hay, Clay, Lay, Bay, May, Say!

The backpacks were full and ready today...

Big Sis gave a hug to tell Lil' Sis it's ok!

HJ wasn't ready to go at all, but

AE was ready to have a ball!

She smiled for the camera by the tree,

ready to meet her teacher-to-be.

When I asked this little one to smile,

all she did was snarl

all the while.

Then she went in for a dig
or was it imitating a pig?

After school was done,

we went out for some fun.

She climbed atop the castle,

with the aid of a prince

and gave her "most loudest" call

to tell them all

these girls are going to have a really great Fall!

And after all that, will you please still be my friend?

I promise, I won't rhyme again!

Kudos to those who can name the movie the rhyming words came from in this post's title!!!

I Want My Baby Back

For anyone who may still be wondering why this photo made me cry, it was a bout of missing my baby. I want my baby back. Something about putting away such a load of socks got to me.

Now HJ is wearing the same size 2-3 year socks as AE, and it made me teary.

So when someone found the Baby Bjorn, they thought this would make me laugh.

And it did.

And I hope it makes you laugh, too!

Quiz!

Why did this sight make me cry this week?

A) I'm hormonal.
B) Those socks had an atrocious smell.
C) The socks weren't arranged by color.
D) Every sock in there is now too small for HJ and I had to pack them away with all the "hypothetical next baby" things.

Please answer in the comments section below, phriends!

So This Is Love

My daughters held hands and danced to this tonight.

My heart is full!

She Makes a Mama Proud

"A.E., how was school today?"

"I had so much fun at school today."

"What did you do?"

"I learned."

In light of my last post, it warms my heart.

Sidenote: I am now know as "Mother."
